Welcome to SS-SBSE 2016!
We are proud to announce the First International Summer School on Search-Based Software Engineering (SS-SBSE 2016). This event is organized under the umbrella of SEBASENet, the Spanish Excellence Network on Search-Based Software Engineering (funded by the Spanish Government with the participation of nine Spanish universities) and it is hosted by the UCASE Software Engineering Research Group at the University of Cádiz, Spain, from 29 June to 1 July.
Research in the area of Search-Based Software Engineering (SBSE) has flourished in the last years. In its inception, the goal of this Summer School is presenting current research in different topics of SBSE research organized in a series of exciting keynotes, talks and seminars followed by open questions and debate.
This Summer School is open to participants from both Academy and Industry all around the world. We are happy to invite any student (especially, PhD students), researcher, or professional interested in the topics to join us and participate in the event.
We hope that this will contribute to foster collaboration within this growing community of practitioners, to strengthen interactions, and increase the quality of our current and future SBSE research. Welcome to the First International Summer School on Search-Based Software Engineering and see you all soon in Cádiz, Spain!
